Freeway Gods

Every commuter one time or another will think about this in their heads, “Somebody up there must be messing with me right now!”. Some familiar situations are:

• Thinking “Out of all days, why does it have to happen today!”
• Thinking “Great….I am finally early today and this happens, sigh….I just can’t win…”
• Thinking your lane is too slow, so you switch lanes. After you switch lanes your old lanes zooms by you and you just sit there on your new lane pissed off.

So there must be some Freeway Gods up there right!? Messing with us and having a laugh. I think about this probably once every other day when commuting. The truth is, changing lanes and speeding can only get you faster to your work maybe 10-15 minutes. Many times I think its not even worth doing anymore, so I just stick with one lane all the way like a lemming.
